Video Games Live is bringing the music to Comic-Con this year. Video Games Live features the best game music performed by top orchestras, complete with cutting-edge visuals and audience interactivity. The event kicks off at 8 p.m. sharp at the San Diego Civic Theatre on Saturday, July 20, 2013. RSVP to their Facebook event to let them know you’re coming! The event is first come, first serve for seating but there are two ways to guarantee a seat:
I. Upon Land: Your first option is a social media treasure hunt. You’ll have your smartphone with you at Comic-Con, right? We’ll send you on a swashbuckling, photo-snapping scavenger hunt, and watch for your photos on Facebook or Twitter. Completing the hunt will guarantee you a ticket*—with a great seat, too. The hunt starts at 10 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20. Just visit the Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag ship, the Jackdaw, docked right behind the convention center at 5th Ave. Landing in San Diego Harbor. Once you’re there, look for someone in a grey Video Games Live shirt for more details.
II. Upon Sea: The second way to hook yourself a ticket? Pre-order Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag from aboard the Jackdaw with one of the nice folks from Ubisoft, and they’ll hand you one*. It’s not every day you get to choose a shipping method from aboard a ship. Aye, matey.
