Here’s My C2E2 Schedule

Here’s My C2E2 Schedule post thumbnail image

Of course this could always change but here are my plans as of right now. If you see me during the show please feel free to say hi!

Friday: I actually plan on cosplaying as Kate Bishop from the Hawkeye #9 cover.

3:15 pm – 4:15 pm
MARVEL: House of Ideas

5:15 pm – 6:15 pm
MARVEL: Breaking In

5:45 pm – 6:45 pm
Costume Contest

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Felicia Day Q&A

8:15 pm – 9:15pm
Being Human with Sam Huntington

I actually plan to spend most of the day wandering around the floor and checking out Artist Alley. My first mission is to get to Skottie Young’s table as quickly as possible. You’ll notice that my morning is pretty clear. When I first wrote this, I had two different panels after Felicia but because Sammy Huntington was added, my schedule changed. A perfect example of how plans can change leading up to a convention.

At Noon I’m taking part in an Avengers group photo shoot which is pretty awesome and then at 1:15 I have an interview lined up and then another interview at 2:25. You’ll have to wait and see who the interviews are with!

Saturday:

11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Travel Channel’s “Toy Hunter” – This is Not Your Ordinary Child’s Play!

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Chicago Ghosts Presented by Ghostbusters: Chicago Division

2:45 pm – 3:45 pm
I Have No Sewing Machine, but I Must Cosplay!

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
MARVEL: From NOW! to Infinity

5:45 pm – 6:45 pm
Supernatural Fan Panel

7:45 pm – 8:45 pm
My Journey Into The Unknown: “Paranormal State’s” Ryan Buell Panel Lecture/Discussion

8:15 pm – 9:15 pm
Zombie Talk with Chad Coleman

It looks like a busy day but a few of these might fall off. I’m not 100% sure about the Zombie Talk panel. It was supposed to be a larger panel when first announced, with Laurie Holden and Chandler Riggs, but because of schedules it was changed. The main panels I plan to make are the Cosplay and Supernatural panels. Those were the first things I added to my schedule when it was announced.

Sunday:

11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Derf Backderf on My Friend Dahmer

12:15 pm – 1:15 pm
Exorcising the Spectre of the Fake Geek Girl: Discussing Geek Culture, Gate-keeping and Sexism

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Meet R.L. Stine who has been Giving Us Goosebumps for 20 Years!

2:45 pm – 3:45 pm
MARVEL: Next Big Thing

Normally Sunday is a day for the kids and this year was no different. I have a few panels lined up but it’ll probably be another day spent on the floor, this time looking for deals. If I only make it to the R.L. Stine panel I’ll be happy. There are a few signings I want to try and make on Sunday as well but we’ll see.

The thing I like best about C2E2 is the fact it’s a little more laid back then San Diego Comic-Con or even New York Comic-Con. I get to visit a city I enjoy plus I get to see and attend with friends who can’t make the other conventions because of costs. As always, if you see me during the weekend please feel free to say Hi!
