Hero Complex has shared some pretty exciting exclusive news. If you’ve been waiting tooth and nail for more Transformers exclusives, your wait is over. There are three different sets/options being made available. The designs are based on over 29 years of Transformers history.
…one of the sets pays tribute to Transformers: Generation 1 — the original toy line that launched in 1984. The Transformers Titan Guardians action figure set features five classic characters: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave and Grimlock.
Honestly, those are the Transformers that I remember. My nephew on the other hand would probably recognize the second set based on “Transformers: Prime – Beast Hunters.” It comes with the evil Decepticon scientist and his cloning chamber, as well as a Commander Class Predaking figure.
Finally, if you’re looking for something a little different, how about…
The largest converting Transformers toy ever made, standing at more than two feet tall. The Transformers Generations Titan Class Metroplex converts from robot into a rolling battle platform, and to an Autobot city, inhabited by 12 miniature Autobot and Decepticon figures, as well as a Legends-scale Scamper figure. The toy is the first in the Transformers Thrilling 30 line, celebrating the franchise’s anniversary.
Believe it or not, the price tag isn’t too bad on this. It’s $149.99. I thought it would be more based on the size. This is one of those exclusives you should probably ship back home if you can!
The Transformers: Generation 1 set is $39.99 and the “Transformers: Prime – Beast Hunters” is $49.99
