The whole point of NerdHQ (besides bringing everyone together) is to raise money for OperationSmile. Every dollar made goes to that charity. It’s really a win/win for everyone. The fans get to see their favorite celebrity up close & personal and in some cases, that means really personal.
During the Nathan Fillion conversation at NerdHQ during ComicCon 2012, Zachary Levi had a suprise. Apparently the day before he said for $100 for a kiss on the cheek, well the NerdHQ suprised him with someone who donated $1000. He dipped her and gave her a kiss,
Does it get anymore up close? How awesome is that? First you have Zac who was even offering the kiss and then you have a fan who throws $1,000 into the ring! I can’t wait to see how much is raised this year. But wait, it gets better.
