Minutes ago, The Hollywood Reporter posted that they have heard from sources that this will be a big announcement at SDCC and the movie will feature the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The movie Marvel has attempted to keep shrouded in secrecy may be exposed.
Rumors and theories are being thrown around the internet today that the once “Secret Marvel Movie for 2014″ will feature the Guardians of the Galaxy. Actually, Latino Review is saying IT IS the 2014 movie that will lead us into Avengers 2 in 2015.
Granted, I don’t know a lot about comics and the entire Marvel Universe, but the points made in Latino Review’s post make sense (at least to me, the novice). And personally I can totally see Marvel revealing this kind of information during SDCC — It’d be huge.
We already know a few things about the future of Marvel movies:
1) There is an Iron Man 3. They’re actually filming now.
2) There will be a Thor 2 and a Captain America 2.
3) That character at the end of the Avengers was Thanos. Who was recently reintroduced in the Marvel Comic Universe as were the Guardians.
Also, recently, the Guardians were featured on an episode of Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heros, which I thought was random but now it seems somewhat telling.
Once an official announcement is made, you can be sure we’ll share the info but in the meantime, what are your thoughts? I know you have them….
