I bought a new camera which is making me even more excited for SDCC.
I thought about buying a DSLR but wasn’t 100% sure. I don’t need anything that fancy. I wanted something better than just a normal “point & shoot” which is what I have now. I love my Sony Cybershot and I was really impressed with how it performed during the panels but I wanted more zoom. I asked my Uncle about a camera he had (it was stolen from his luggage) and he loved it and said the zoom was amazing. I forgot about it until I was out during Black Friday. That’s when I took the plunge and bought a Canon SX30IS 14.1MP Digital Camera with 35x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. I was able to buy it for a pretty decent price!
I can’t wait until it gets a little warmer out and I can go around and play with it more. I plan on taking it to a few baseball games in order to break it in. I’m really excited for SDCC now!
