More Mattel 2011 SDCC Exclusives

Masters of the Universe® Classics Queen Marlena™ Figure ($25)
Another MOTU exclusive, the Queen of Eternia seems to come packaged in two different manners, one with her gown available only at Comic-Con and the other with a space suit will only be available for sale on MattyCollector.com after the show, but each version will include the parts so create either look.

Young Justice Superboy in Cloning Chamber ($20)
With the imminent release of Mattel’s Young Justice line, based on the Cartoon Network series, this action figure depicting Connor Kent as he appeared in the first episode could be a decent seller at the show. The clone chamber he comes packed inside of could also double as an awesome CADMUS playset.

Hot Wheels® Back to the Future™ Vehicle ($35)
I want to see what this looks like before I judge. Expect this to be a sleeper hit, though…

Hot Wheels® Franken Berry™ Vehicle ($20)
100% Nostalgia is in effect! I like the whole idea of “what’s old is new” when it comes to properties being resurrected at the con. I see this low key figure building slow but steady hype until it is one of those figures that sell for three to four times the original retail value.

Carol Ferris Barbie® Doll ($35)
When I saw this at Toy Fair I thought it was a good way to tie the GL movie into yet another Mattel line but I had no idea it would be offered at Comic-Con as well. I am uncertain how this might do but if the movie is a hit with the demographic that this figure is targeted at then it could be a hard to find toy. We’ll see.
