If you’re looking for some parties to attend Gam3rCon might have something that fits your style. They’ll be hosting numerous roof top parties during the week of Comic-Con. The parties start on the 17th and end with a De-Con-pression party on Sunday. Can I just say how much I love that name? Here are the details on all the different parties!
July 17th:
Paint Party! (21+) – Presented by Maven Imprint
8pm | FREE with Gam3rCon Admission
The Maven Imprint presents all day interactive live painting by top NYC live artist Paul Nassar & Contra Alliance Illustrator David Marzano (nassart.com, facebook.com/seventy3graphics). Also, the VIP evening will featured an acoustic preview from Chamber Band’s new record (chamberband.com). Everything you need to have a ‘made of awesome’ kick-off party: live painting, live music, food, drinks and, of course, gaming. Come join us in painting the rooftop walls of the 10th Ave Theatre with game themed art to kick this year off right! No artistic skill required!
July 18th:
Industry Night (21+)
8pm | FREE with proof of industry credentials.
Join game industry professionals at the annual Gam3rCon Industry Night Party! If you can show proof of industry credentials you get in free!
July 19th:
Filking Concert
8:00pm – 9:00pm | Rooftop Party | 21 + | FREE with Gam3rCon Admission
Cosplay Fashion Show
9:00pm – 10:00pm | Rooftop Party | 21 + | FREE with Gam3rCon Admission
Runway style fashion show. Cash prizes! $5 entry fee. Free drink if you are in costume!
Over Night Throwdown
After 2am – till 10am on Saturday | 18 + | 10$ charge Food and drink included
Not tired of gaming yet? GAME ALL NIGHT! The Video Game Arena and Table Top Lounge will be open to a night of free play and cash tournaments.
July 20th:
Comedy Night
10:00pm – 12:00pm | Rooftop Party | 21 + | FREE with Gam3rCon Admission Andre “Black-Nerd” Meadows and friends will make you laugh ‘till you pee with their stand-up acts all about gaming and nerdery. Joined by special guest sketch group: 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors
Over Night S’mores
after 2am– till 10am on Saturday | 18 + (or accompanied by an adult) | FREE with Gam3rCon Volunteerism.
Camp out on the rooftop and enjoy a night of games, stories and s’mores! Bring your own bed / tent / sleeping bag or what have you (Click here to learn how to become a volunteer.)
July 21st:
De-Con-pression Party: Chamber Band West Coast Record Release (21+)
8pm | FREE with Gam3rCon admission.
Dungeons & Dragons, love, & heartbreak – meet Chamber Band (chamberband.com). They’re releasing a record this summer and Gam3rCon celebrates their West Coast Record Release on our final night. Final Prize drawings, music, food, and D&D tunes!
