SDCC Shuttles To Be 24 Hour!

San Diego Comic Con

Ah, CCI is finally starting to slowly announce information and update things for 2012. It’s about time! CCI has updated the important information page and if you plan on using the shuttle, you’ll want to pay attention.

Comic-Con International’s shuttle expands to 24-hour service this year, stopping at over 60 different locations in downtown, Mission Valley, and hotels near the airport on Shelter Island and Harbor Island. The shuttle service, sponsored by Showtime and coordinated by Seat Planners Incorporated, kicks in Wednesday, July 11 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM for Comic-Con’s Preview Night. On Thursday, July 12, 24-hour service begins starting at 5:00 AM and runs continuously until Sunday at 7:00 PM!

That’s right! The shuttles are going to be 24 hour! This is a huge deal. It’s great to see that CCI is starting to recognize the fact that offsite events go on throughout the day and into the wee hours of the mornings. I can’t wait to hear about drunken debauchery that takes place. You know it’s going to happen.

Do you plan on using the shuttle now that it’s 24 hours?

  • I’m kind of surprised you’re just picking up on this story. It was mentioned when early hotels went on sale back in March.
