Whether you attended DST’s Minimates panel at San Diego Comic-Con or not, you need to check out their Minimates panel at New York Comic-Con! They’ll have new pictures! New news! New speakers! New animation! New clothes! (Actually, they will be wearing the same clothes.) Plus, the panel will be sandwiched by signings with Minimates designer and artist Uriel Caton at the DST booth! Here are the details:
Saturday, October 15, 2011
12:30-2:00, Booth 338, Diamond Select Toys
Signing with Uriel Caton, head designer of DST’s Minimates mini-figures, and artist behind many of DST’s Minimates promotional posters. Free copies of Uriel’s Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Minimates poster will be available for signing, and the show exclusives will be available for purchase, but feel free to bring any product for him to sign. (He designs the majority of our Minimates figures, with the exception of Halo.)
2:45-3:45, Panel Room 1A15, downstairs
“Minimates: 9 Years, 1000 Tiny Toys.” Some of the team behind the Minimates mini-figure brand will unveil upcoming products and answer your questions about the 2-inch, highly articulated toys, which were born right here in NYC! Minimates product manager Robert Yee, Art Asylum artist and designer Uriel Caton and DST Marketing Supervisor Zach Oat will share insider info about all of our current lines, including Marvel, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Halo, Universal Monsters, Minimates MAX, Pirate Raiders, Real Ghostbusters, Knight Rider, Femme Fatales, Back to the Future and their new zombie line! They will then submit to a Q&A session and debut the next stop-motion animated Minimates adventure, based on Pirate Raiders! Plus, there will be a Minimates prize drawing at the end of the panel!
4:30-6:00, Booth 338, Diamond Select Toys
Signing resumes with Uriel Caton.
