Can’t make it to San Diego? Have no fear! Toronto Comic Con is here! The event will take place at Direct Energy Centre from March 18th-20th. If you don’t have a calendar nearby that’s a Friday, Saturday & Sunday. The Hours are Friday, March 18, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 20, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m..
The line up sounds pretty exciting and interesting. On tap for the event are Julie Benz (Dexter),
Nicholas Brendon (Buffy), Claudia Christian (Babyalon 5) and artists such as Carlos Pacheco (“X-Men,” “Green Lantern”), Phil Jimenez (“Amazing Spider-Man,” “Astonishing X-Men”) and Michael Golden (“Wolverine: First Class,” “New Exiles”).
There isn’t much information as far panels or autograph sessions at the moment. It is a little early but you can buy tickets. At the moment a 3 day pass is $45 which is a “Buy Early & Save” price. A single day ticket is only $25. They offer a VIP Pass for $150 but I don’t think it’s worth it. It doesn’t seem to get you anything extra other than a free book.
The Toronto Comic Con is part of Wizard World and has nothing to do with Comic Con International.
