We at When Nerds Attack were lucky enough to talk to the Cast and Executive Producers of Fox’s The Orville at SDCC this year. The show seems to follow the themes of Galaxy Quest; while it will draw parallels to Star Trek, it is not a parody, but a loving homage, that wants to strike a balance between drama and comedy. The cast and producers are highly passionate about this show, so I’m genuinely interested to see where it goes!
