Agent Coulson Lives On “S.H.I.E.L.D.”

New York Comic Con

Of course I tweeted this when it was announced but the biggest news, in my opinion, to come out of New York Comic Con was the first piece of “S.H.I.E.L.D.” casting news. That news was of course that Clark Gregg, Agent Coulson, would be joining the live action show that’s due to hit ABC. I was at the Marvel TV panel when the news was announced and the room went nuts. It’s amazing how much love there is for his character.

Now, we didn’t get any real details about the show or the explanation for Coulson being alive. I can’t wait to see how it’s explained. Some are wondering if maybe the series will be a prequel to before all the Avengers, or even the MCU in general, foolishness. All I know is I can’t wait! I love Clark Gregg and being able to have him on my TV every week is more than welcomed. Plus I think it’ll be a nice way to connect everything together. I think having Agent Coulson as part of the show will really help fans latch on and embrace it even more.

What did you think about the news? Did anyone crash a car or freak out when they heard the announcement?
