IndieZombie Musical to screen at SDCC 2012 and available on iTunes

June30, 2012– Zombie fans everywhere will be excited to hear thatRigamortis: A Zombie Love Story will be screeing on Friday July 13th at 6:15 PM as a part of the San Diego Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival. Afterthe 36 min screening there will be a 15 min question and answersession with Maxwell Glick (Parker), Ted Campbell (Co-Director) DaveDewes (Co-Writer, Director), and Matt Olson (Producer). Allprinciple cast and crew will be in attendace on Friday as well.

StarringMaxwell Glick (YouTube’s lonelygirl15, NBC’s TheOffice, CBS’s Castle, andWeb-Hit Gold: Night of the Zombie King), BostonStergis, and Lisa Musser, Rigamortis: A Zombie Love Storyobserves the aftermath of a zombie outbreak from the perspective ofthe last two remaining zombies as they sing and dance their way tofreedom from an overly determined zombie hunter with a little toomuch to prove.

Rigamortis premiered at the 2011 Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival, walking away with the much-coveted Audience Choice Award. The film then wenton to its world premiere on YouTube and the film’s website,www.RigamortisMovie.com. It was then accepted and awarded prizes at both the 2011 and 2012 Phoenix Comicon. In addition, Rigamortis screened at Houston’s 2011 Comicpalooza, 2011 and 2012 GenCon Indy, and 2011 Dragon*Con, as well as various film festivals across the country.

Chicago-basedproduction company Collateral Damage Productions, which has produced several award winning features and shorts, utilized micro-funding forthis independent short film. Soon after completion the project waspicked up by web entertainment distributor powerhouse New Video Group. Rigamortisis now available in HD on the iTunes Store.

Rigamortis:A Zombie Love Story is a comedic musical short produced by JennyStolte and Matt Olson and written by Dave Dewes. Dave alsoco-directed the film with Los Angeles director Ted Campbell. Thelyrics and music are written by composer/comedian Greg Szydlowski whoruns the comedy website PrettySpecialRecords.com.
