Tickets for the 2012 New York Comic Con went on sale today at noon (eastern time) and while it took a while to sell out last year the event still did sell out so I would advise you purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
The show is being held once again at the popular Jacob Javits Center on Manhattan’s west side on the weekend of October 11 – 14, 2012. Today’s sale is only for the 4-Day tickets that will get you into Thursday events that are only open to Pros, Press, VIPs and fans who purchase a 4-Day Ticket. For those looking at not attending every day, the 3-Day and 1-Day Passes will go on sale when we get closer to the con.
During this past year’s NYCC I had attended on the Thursday and found it to be very refreshing to view the floor at my own pace without having to navigate through a sea of people. Oh, and one booth was giving out free booze too! Due to the popularity of this night the team over at Reed POP will be expanding on the day with more panels and screenings, as well as extending the show floor hours from 3 PM to 9 PM.
I have enjoyed attending NYCC every single year that it has been held and I do not plan on missing out on this one. Last year Barb and I both went and covered various panels and I hope we can bring even more coverage and news to you guys in October!
