New York Comic Con

Who doesn’t love con exclusives? NYCC is becoming the #2 con in the US pretty quickly and now some of the major toy companies are starting to notice. Maybe we’ll see Sideshow and Hot Toys exclusives next year?

First up is this Joker from DC Direct.

Graphitti Designs will offer this DC Direct exclusive figure at this years New York Comic Con. The Batman: Arkham City The Joker (Sickened Variant) figure stands approximately 6.5-inches high, features multiple points of articulation, includes a removable display base and is packaged on a blister card. The Joker variant will be limited to two per person and a wristband will be required to purchase the figure for $20.

Check out that Nerf N-Strike Barricade RV-10 Special Edition Transformers Bumblebee Blaster! The blaster features a decoration of artwork from IDW Publishing and is a follow-up to the Optimus Prime blaster from this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

Marvel’s “Maximum Carnage” crossover in Spider-Man comics in 1993 was pretty epic, and comic fans can relive the story line with a special edition collector’s pack of vinyl Marvel Mini Muggs. Spider-Man, Carnage, Demogoblin, J. Jonah Jameson and Venom (with an alternate Eddie Brock face on the back of the figure’s head) come home in a box resembling a New York City skyscraper.

You will be able to get this exclusive at Booth #302 at New York Comic Con (October 13-16), or HasbroToyShop.com, after the convention.

To go along with the previously announced Nerf N-Strike Barricade RV-10 Special Edition Transformers Bumblebee Blaster, Hasbro introduced the trick-shot game Cuponk last year, and they’re giving it a Transformers spin with a special retro edition featuring special electronic Megatron and Optimus Prime Cuponk cups and balls adorned with Autobot and Decepticon artwork.

Hulk What’s more powerful than Hulk and Red Hulk? The two Hulks combined into the 3 3/4″ Marvel Universe Compound Hulk! This figure recreates a memorable moment from this year’s HULK #30, when the two hulking enemies were combined into one red-and-green behemoth! The figure is based on the artwork of superstar artist Ed McGuinness, and his artwork adorns the special edition blister card and outer packaging of this one-of-a-kind figure!

You will be able to get this exclusive at Booth #302 at New York Comic Con (October 13-16), or HasbroToyShop.com, after the convention. The cost will be $11.
