My SDCC 2010 Autographs

San Diego Comic Con

I was surprised at how many autographs I scored last year. It wasn’t a priority but we did have some non-panel time to kill on Saturday. Some of the autographs were free and some I paid for. I appreciate them all the same. These celebrities don’t have to go to conventions and meet with fans but they do and you can tell they appreciate us just as much as we appreciate them.

Pauley Perrette of NCIS

I love Pauley and her character “Abby” on the CBS hit “NCIS.” I was actually Abby one year for Halloween. It was pretty much a dream come true to meet her. I had to make the choice between attending a panel she was a part of or waiting in line for the autograph. It’s pretty clear what my choice was. She was signing at the CBS booth along with a few other members of CBS. I wish I could have scored a photo with her but they were rushing us along since the line was long and 3 people were signing at once.

Barrett Foa of NCIS: LA

I’m not going to lie, at the time I wasn’t a huge fan of NCIS: LA. Even now I don’t really watch it unless a commercial for an episode grabs me. He was very nice though and made sure to make eye contact with you and try to have a short conversation even though the time they allowed was pretty short. It doesn’t hurt that he’s kinda cute!

LL was there for NCIS: LA as well but he actually signed by himself earlier in the day. It’s a good thing because he drew a crowd. I think people were surprised to see him at Comic Con and I can’t blame them! His line was long but the traffic jam he caused in the exhibition hall was crazy. Hey, ladies love cool James! I have to say his arms are bigger in person and he’s even hotter in person if that’s possible.

Eddie McClintock

This was an autograph I paid for but to me it was worth it. I’ve been a fan of Eddie’s since he played Agent Sully on Bones. We actually talked more about Bones than Warehouse 13 even though I watch the later as well. He was bummed that he wasn’t able to have a Bones head shot photo at his table but I think this one is just as good. He was really nice and you could tell he was having a good time!

James Marsters

You could say I saved the best for last. James was beyond nice. We talked about how it was my first San Diego Comic Con and he gave some great advice. He told me to just talk to people because everyone is there for the same reasons. He said he remembered his first Con like it was yesterday and never gets tired of them. The fact that he took the time to have an actually conversation meant the world. I’ve been to some sports signings where they just sign your item and never say a word. It’s all very “business like” but this was 100% the opposite. Again, this was another autograph I paid for but I didn’t mind. I felt I got much more than my moneys worth.

As you can see, you’ll find stars from A to Z at Comic Con. Some people might say some of these celebs don’t belong but I personally don’t care. Comic Con is the one place where you can find something for everyone. That’s why I think Comic Con is amazing. People from all walks come together and have a great time! What more can you ask for?
